My Story
I'm an audio journalist, producer, and radio personality based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Raised in Omaha, I fell in love with broadcasting in adolescence, drawn to its power to inform and connect people. I earned degrees in Philosophy and Broadcasting from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where I began honing my voice as a storyteller.
As an undergraduate, I produced an audio feature for the Nebraska News Service that earned both a Hearst Journalism Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award. It was also nominated for a Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Award.
I describe my journalistic style as warm, thorough, and informative. Studying philosophy taught me to think critically about the smallest details while keeping the bigger picture in view. In my reporting, I believe empathy and curiosity are the foundations of good storytelling. My experience in broadcasting has taught me how to deliver essential information clearly, accurately, and with ease.

I keep a daily ear to the ground — pitching stories, conducting interviews, writing web articles, crafting social media posts, and anchoring live newscasts from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 to 5:30 p.m.

I anchored, wrote, and produced hourly evening newscasts focused on stories that matter to Nebraskans — covering local politics, events, sports, and community issues relevant to our listeners.

KFRX 106.3 – Lincoln’s Hit Music Station
I got my start as "Intern Chase" on the KFRX Morning Show before moving on to host my own weekend shows. I wrote and curated engaging on-air content, took listener calls, and managed posts for the station’s website and social media platforms.

Nebraska News Service – University of Nebraska–Lincoln
The Nebraska News Service gave student journalists real-world experience, pitching and producing stories for communities across the state. While reporting for NNS, I produced an audio feature that earned two national honors: the Edward R. Murrow Excellence In Audio Feature Reporting Award and The Hearst Audio Journalism Award.

CREATOR & HOST
New Age Comics
Born from a love of classic comics and storytelling, I launched New Age Comics, a weekly podcast exploring comic book culture and conversation. Over eight months, I wrote, produced, designed graphics, and hosted 41 hour-long episodes. Starting from scratch, I built an audience of 100+ regular listeners, grew a following of 1,700+ across social platforms, and secured a paid sponsorship.
